Wiring the Slider Potentiometer

Connections

  1. Connect the left terminal of the potentiometer to the GND pin on the Arduino.
  2. Connect the middle terminal (wiper) to an analog pin (like A0) on the Arduino. This pin will read the voltage that changes as you slide the potentiometer.
  3. Connect the right terminal of the potentiometer to the 5V pin on the Arduino.
